CLEAN ROOM: Innovation achieved in the part - Cardiopatch Tray

At OSF, we have contributed our knowledge and experience in the manufacture of the Cardiopatch Tray, a piece of silicone with high geometric complexity and optical grade.

Thanks to its technological capacity and competitiveness in the manufacture of plastic and liquid silicone for the medical sector, OSF has been able to work for the Cardiopatch Project, thanks to its close collaboration with one of the consortium partners, Leartiker S.Coop.

This is a device for an innovative therapy consisting of a stem cell patch intended to repair cardiac tissue damaged by myocardial infarction, in a non-invasive manner. 

The material required for the application is an optical and biocompatible silicone, with exceptional transparency and outstanding electromechanical properties. Its processing has been a challenge because it is a very delicate material.

In our ISO 7 certified Clean Room we have specialized equipment and ovens, fully adapted to medical standards.

We have made several improvements in the mold to meet the specific needs and requirements of our customers, ensuring quality and precision in every tray we manufacture.

In addition, parts are handled and conditioned in the Clean Room to ensure conditions and prevent contamination during transport and storage.

With our manufacturing expertise and rigorous quality standards in accordance with ISO 13485, we are committed to delivering high-performance products that contribute to the advancement of the medical industry.
